FAQ

Common questions.

Why does CRI matter for tint and PPF work?+
Color rendering index (CRI) measures how accurately a light source shows color. Cheap shop lights have low CRI (70–80) and hide tint depth, color shift, and PPF contamination. Glacier shop lighting is 95+ CRI — close to natural daylight — so you and the customer see the same thing.
What wattage / coverage do I need?+
Rule of thumb: 80–100 lumens per square foot for tint and detail work, 120+ for PPF inspection. We can quote a layout for any bay size — send dimensions to sales.
